THE NEXT SIGNS.

THE next issue of the SIGNS will be the special number. Has the reader sent in an order for an extra number? We have orders now in hand for a good many copies. One party, a blind man, has ordered 1,200. His experience with former special issues has been such that he knows he can dispose of all of them. He has faith in the message the paper will bear. He has faith that works. May the same spirit which moves this brother whose physical eyes are darkened, but who evidently sees clearly with the eye of faith, inspire many who are blessed with physical eyesight to do all they can to let the light and truth which the SIGNS of July 24 will contain, shine out to everybody.
The fact that one copy of the SIGNS will enlist the interest of a stranger shows it has real merit. We frequently receive subscriptions from persons who have seen only one copy or a fragment of a copy. Here is an illustration. A gentleman at Boonville, Ind., writes: “Proprietors and Editors SIGNS OF THE TIMES, Oakland Cal. Please find enclosed stamps (40 cents) for which please send to my address as above your paper for the next three months. A copy of the SIGNS accidentally fell into my hands; being desirous of taking a religious paper and liking the tone of the SIGNS, concluded to give it a trial. Yours for the truth.”
