Nurses’ Commencement Exercises

The St. Helena Sanitarium Training-school for Nurses held its commencement exercises for the graduating class of 1901 in the Sanitarium chapel, Thursday evening, May 30. The class consisted of twelve young women, each of whom had successfully completed the work of the course, and graduated with a full purpose to devote her talent and ability to medical missionary work. The training-school has grown steadily during the nine years since it was established, and the course of study and the experience gained have proportionately increased in value. The address to the class, printed in our Mission Department, was given by Dr. A. J. Sanderson. We regret that limited space made it necessary for us to condense this excellent instruction.
