Passion Play for Siwash Indians

FATHER CHIROUSE, a Catholic missionary, is instructing a band of Siwash Indians at Chilliwack, B. C., in the production of a passion play, in which he hopes to teach the Indians more of the sufferings of the Lord than he has been able to make them realize heretofore. There is no doubt that the Indians will be interested in the production of the play; there is no doubt also that it will have as little influence for the cause of God as the passion play produced at Oberammergau, which lures the curiosity-seekers from all parts of the world.
