Subscriptions and Premium Books

A lady in Michigan writes on May 15, 1901:—
“To the Editor of the SIGNS OF THE TIMES:
“Some friend was kind enough to have your paper sent to me for three months, and I am so intensely interested in it that I wish it sent to me for six months, and enclose an order for 75 cents in payment. At its expiration I shall renew again, God willing.
“I have become very much interested in the publications of your creed, and can not read enough of them. I would gladly get subscriptions for the SIGNS if I were not so aged and go out so little.”
We have just prepared a list of valuable books which we are offering as premiums to any one who will send one new subscription to the SIGNS.
We have also a premium list for subscriptions, new and renewed, for Our Little Friend. Send for one or both of these, and get some good books, practically free. Address SIGNS OF THE TIMES, Oakland, Cal.
An agent who is disposing of 300 SIGNS each week in one of our large Eastern cities writes on May 14, 1901:—
“The work is onward here in this city, there being now a large and steady inquiry for more instruction on different lines. One subscriber will want to follow out one line; another will want to follow out another line, and so on. I am supplying them with books, tracts, and pamphlets on those lines of interest, as well as giving them Bible studies etc. I intend to see if more workers can not be started on this line this summer and fall.”
