A PRAYER FOR GUIDANCE.

By Gertrude E. M. Spiking

Perfectly resigned to Thee, My dear Saviour, I will be; Fill my heart with love divine; Thy sweet peace be ever mine.
Perfectly controlled by Thee, Loving Master, I will be; In Thy strength I will confide, ’Neath Thy wings content to hide.
O’er the road Thou leadest me I will never question Thee; For Thy Word sent from above Says, “I chasten whom I love.”
O dear Lord, give strength to stand; I so need Thy guiding hand; When I slip, prevent my fall, And the praise I give Thee all!
Merrit, S. D. GERTRUDE E. M. SPIKING.
