MORNING INVOCATION.

By J. W. Stein

HOLY, wise, and mighty Lord, Living, and life-giving Word, Rising Sun of Righteousness, In my life Thy life express.
Shining Day Star from on high, Let me feel Thy presence nigh; With Thy thought, my thoughts inspire; Kindle all my soul’s desire.
In Thy light let me see light; Banish every gloom of night; Let me know Thee as Thou art; Live and reign within my heart.
Let my life Thy life express; Others thru me comfort, bless. May Thy beams which on me shine, Prove Thy likeness all divine.
Battle Creek, Mich. J. W. STEIN.
