Give, and It Shall Be Given
“Give, and it shall be given.”—Mr. Geo. T. Angell, editor and publisher of Our Dumb Animals, has given away in the past ten years more than five million copies of humane publications. When asked where he got his money to enable him to do this, he said, “We get our money by generous giving.” The wise man says, “The liberal soul shall be made fat;” and Jesus teaches us, “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give unto your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”
