Pacific Health Journal Begins the New Century

The “Pacific Health Journal,” begins the new century with a neat cover page and a good bill of hygienic mental fare. Here is a list of the articles: Public Education in Hygiene; How to Use Water So As to Ease Pain; The Decline of Medical Superstitions; The Health of Our School-children; Pneumonia; Tuberculosis; Scarlatina; Winter Clothing; Colds; La Grippe—Influenza; Tea and Coffee As a Food; Some of the Effects of Exercise; The Growl of a Pessimist, etc. The names of the dread diseases above do not mean that the Pacific Health Journal is affected by them; no, it tells us how to recognize, avoid, and treat these enemies, and the articles are written mostly by physicians of experience. The publishing department is well filled; and all this for 5 cents. The Journal for a year is only 50 cents. It is the best health journal at that price published.
