Missionary Mobbed in China

DR. F. M. WOOLSEY, of the West China Mission, was mobbed in December at Kiangpeh, near Chungking, but escaped with only some severe cuts on the face. The crowd was largely composed of military students. Two of the mob were arrested and sentenced to receive 500 strokes with the bamboo and be imprisoned six months.—Missionary Review.
