Now On Sale

Tuesday, November 1, 1898, marked the formal publication of the volume known as “The Desire of Ages.”
On the evening of the day previous our advance orders called for 3,980 books, the retail value of which was $14,967.25.
It has been impossible for us to ship out this vast number of books as promptly as we would like, but each order is carefully indexed, and NOT ONE WILL BE OVERLOOKED.
Mr. S. C. Osborne, General Canvassing Agent in District No. 5, says of the book: “I was looking for something nice, but it exceeds my expectations. It is a beauty, and to my mind, the best made book I ever saw.”
Every copy is sewed on four tapes, the same as an office ledger, and will therefore open flat without endangering the back.
