HOW TO SEND CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE HELPING HAND AND DOOR OF HOPE MISSIONS.

Will the kind friends who are sending donations of food, clothing, or provisions to either of the above missions, please note carefully the following instructions?
All contributions should be sent by express or freight, charges prepaid, and each package or box should bear the name and address of the sender, so that prompt acknowledgment of its receipt may be made. When sent by freight, a bill of lading should be mailed at once to the mission to which the contribution is sent, as per addresses given below.
Cash contributions for either mission may be sent direct to the treasurer, S. N. Curtiss, in care of THE SIGNS OF THE TIMES, Oakland, Cal. Be sure to specify for which mission the donation is intended.
Clothing, food, etc., if intended for the men, should be addressed, Helping Hand and Medical Mission, 641 Commercial Street, San Francisco, and bill of lading or notification should be sent to the same address, not to any individual.
Clothing, food, etc., intended for the women should be addressed, Door of Hope Mission, care Pacific Press, Oakland, Cal., and bill of lading or notification should be mailed to the same address.
The winter is at hand, and we hope and expect liberal remembrances from our friends, and we trust each one will carefully follow these instructions, to the end that there may be no loss, delay, or confusion.
S. N. CURTISS, Treasurer.
