Catholic Sisters Nurse Soldiers

“The Catholic Mirror” tells us that Mr. McKinley asked the mother superior of the Sisters of Charity for 100 nurses for the army. These were furnished at the request of the President, and are now working in hospitals in the South. The same paper (August 27) tells of eleven Sisters of Mercy (another Catholic order) who have been sent by the government to nurse sick soldiers.
