SOME DAY.

By M. Ashley

Some day all doubt and mystery Will be made clear, The threatening clouds which now we see Will disappear.
Some day what seems punishment, Or loss, or pain, Will prove to be God’s blessing, and Our everlasting gain.
Some day our weary feet will rest In sweet content, And we shall see how we were blest By what was sent.
In looking back with clearer eyes O’er life’s short span, We’ll see with wondering, glad surprise, God’s perfect plan.
—M. Ashley, M.D., in South African Sentinel.
