Djoziakarta-Hamangkol-Boewono-Senopati-ing-ngalogo-ngabdser-Rahman-Sajidin-Panoto-gomo-Lafakatollat VII., an “independent sovereign” of the island of Java, has been authorized by Queen Wilhelmina, of the Netherlands, to accept the insignia of a grand officer of the royal crown of Siam from King Chulalongkorn.—N.
