A Question in Point.

A correspondent to the San Francisco Examiner asks this proper question: “I will ask what good is a chaplain in the army? If this is a Christian war, what are those infidel boys doing that I know in the First California Volunteers fighting for Christianity? But of course the war is not Christian.” God is able to care for genuine Christianity. He does not arm His soldiers with carnal, but with spiritual weapons. 2 Cor. 10:4; Eph. 6:11–18.
