Sunday Laws Unite Church and State

“Keep the State and the Church forever separate.” —U. S. Grant. But Sunday is a church institution. To enforce it by law is, at the demand of the church, a union of Church and State. It is supporting a church dogma by law. It is to discriminate between those who believe in Sunday and those who do not. It is to bind the Church and State together by a law.
