Classes and Masses in Perilous Times

“Perilous times” are what the prophetic Word portends for the last days. (See 2 Tim. 3:1–5.) Signor Crispi, Italy’s great ex-prime minister, is reported to have said in a recent letter: “Very bad times are in store for us. We must keep united and provide against the dangers which threaten us. The classes must organize and prepare themselves for struggle with the masses.” When that struggle reaches its climax, then will be fulfilled James 5:1; Hab. 2:6–8.
