A Boy Explains the Papacy

A public school-teacher, a Catholic, by the way, asked several other teachers when the Catholic Church was established. Getting no response from them, she appealed to the students. A boy of fifteen years told her in A.D. 538, and proceeded to give an exposition of Daniel 7, the prophetic outline of the character and work of the Papacy. The answer embarrassed the teacher, who kept the boy after school ten minutes as a punishment for his answer. The incident is suggestive.
