TRUE HEREDITY.

[Whatever may be our inheritance of inborn tendency to sin, the power of God utterly takes it away from the soul that is “born from above.” This thought is beautifully expressed by Lydia A. Cooley in her book “Under the Pines.”]
“Why bowest thou, O soul of mine, Crushed by ancestral sin? Thou hast a noble heritage That bids thee victory win.
“Tho tainted past may bring forth flowers As blossomed Aaron’s rod, No legacy of sin annuls Heredity from God.”
