Honest Occupation and State Authority

“The Southern Sentinel and Herald of Liberty,” of Melbourne, Australia, truly says: “Honest occupation can never menace or endanger the peace and safety of the State. For it to do so is to foster idleness, and that is the best hatching-ground for crime known in all the world.”
