Bible Circulation and the Time of the End
The Bible still continues to receive a circulation very far in advance of any other book. The report of the recent annual meeting of the American Bible Society shows that during the year this society has circulated 1,362,273 Bibles, Testaments, and portions of the same, while during the past year the three Bible Societies of the United States and Great Britain have circulated a million and a quarter volumes of the Sacred Scriptures in China alone. All prophecy shows that we are living in the “time of the end,” when the knowledge of the Word of God is making miraculous progress. The living Word of God that gives the knowledge of the “Gospel of the kingdom” will soon be preached in all the world, and we have the promise that “then shall the end come.” Hasten on the glad day of the coming of our Lord.
