Marriage Infidelity and Sodom’s Sins
A prominent millionaire of San Francisco has been sued by a Chicago young widow for $100,000 because of breach of marriage promise. It develops that the man has a wife and children to assist in the complications. Unfaithfulness to the marriage vows is becoming more and more common. This San Francisco case will attract more attention than some others because of the wealth and prominence of the man against whom suit is brought. But it is only a sample of the hundreds of like cases that are occurring right along. How much farther will this world have to plunge into the corrupting sins of Sodom in order for the gross licentiousness of those times to be reached? The Lord has told us that one of the signs of His soon coming will be the degrading vice that will fill the world as it did the city of Sodom. The great day of His advent can not be far off, for surely the sins of Sodom, as a destroying corruption, are spreading over the face of the whole earth.
