CONCERNING the work of the Mission in Detroit, Mich., Brother A. J. Harris reports as follows to Field Echoes: “Anxious souls are inquiring every day for light, and the Lord is surely going before and preparing the way for His truth. People are sent to us for help both spiritually and physically. Much time is spent in looking after the needy,—sometimes nearly the whole day, and even late in the evening, after the meetings at Star of Hope Mission; but a precious blessing comes with it all. A few days ago the secretary of the Bible Society expressed himself as being in harmony with our work, and gave us an order for a supply of Testaments for distribution, and said when we wanted more to let him know.”
