“We Love, because He First Loved Us.”—

Love can come to us only as we yield all to God, and receive His Spirit, by which “the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts.” Rom. 5:5. Our love must come from Him; for “God is love; and he that abideth in love abideth in God, and God abideth in him.” 1 John 4:16, R.V. And God dwells in us by Jesus Christ, and Jesus Christ dwells in our hearts by His Spirit through faith in His Word. Eph. 3:17; Gal. 3:14.
