Righteousness Is Life

God is life because God is righteousness. Righteousness is life, not because of any decree of God, but in the very nature of the thing itself. Jesus Christ, tho righteous, died; but He died because of sin, not His own, but ours. Having met that penalty for us, He could not be holden of the grave; it had no power over Incarnate Righteousness. Would you know “the power of His resurrection”?—Take His righteousness by faith.
