HAVE COURAGE.

By Alice M. Avery-Harper

THE beautiful stars of heaven are shining, The planets revolve, and God keeps them in place. Have courage, lone heart, no time for repining, For you He upholds by His tender embrace.

O, trust Him, sad heart, just now He is pleading; In love’s sweetest accents He biddeth you come! He pleads with the Father, is now interceding, And soon He will welcome the faithful ones home.

Then, murmur ye not, but trust Him forever, Despise not His mercy, reject not His Word. He careth for you, will leave you, no, never. Then trust the Creator, thy Saviour and Lord.
