THE HELPING HAND AND MEDICAL MISSION.

THE last week has been one full of interest in the work of the Mission, and if those who have donated toward the establishing of this work could but witness the results from day to day, they would feel amply repaid for any sacrifice they may have made. When one is there and sees the blessed work being done, he feels anxious, not only to give of his means to help these needy ones, but he is moved to give himself to the work.

The two letters which we publish herewith are indicative of the interest in the work of this Mission:
“Inclosed find $3.00 for the Mission. Please let me know if you get the money all right. I trust you will be satisfied with so small an amount. I will try to earn and send you some more. I am deaf and a servant-girl too.”
“I saw in your paper some time ago a very urgent call for help for suffering people. I was then in a financial strait, and to-day finds me the same, but I feel that I must do something for the One that has done so much for me. Now, if you please, put this [$5.00 inclosed in the letter] where it will do the most good, for in sending this I have to deny myself.”
