PRAYER DYING OUT.

I BELIEVE that the most serious proposition with which the church is confronted is the fact, based on statistics, that prayer as an institution is dying out in America. We are to hasten the coming of the day of the Lord. In connection with the thought of His second coming, Christ “spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint,” and if the assertion is true, we have reached the time when we can conclusively answer the query with which Christ closed this parable: “Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall He find faith on the earth?”—Rev. F. S. Ford, San Francisco.
