By S. N. Curtiss

A most hearty response has already been made to the call for contributions for the Helping Hand Mission in San Francisco. Cash donations are coming in from all over the coast, and some even from the far East. The total amount of cash received up to Jan. 26, 1898, is $318.15.
In addition to the cash, a large amount of clothing, dried fruit, bedding, dishes, table ware, cereal coffee, etc., etc., is promised and will come in as soon as we are ready to receive it.
All contributions of food, clothing, etc., should be addressed, B. F. Richards, Helping Hand Mission, 641 Commercial Street, San Francisco.
Send all cash remittances to Helping Hand Mission, care Pacific Press, Oakland, Cal.
