Liquor Dealers and the Santa Fe Railroad

PRESIDENT EDOFF, of the California Liquor Dealers' Association, the organization which threatened to boycott the Santa Fe Railroad on account of its order prohibiting its employees entering saloons, now states that no such action will be taken, as an arrangement mutually satisfactory has been entered into with the railroad company. If this arrangement means a withdrawing of the Santa Fe's order to its employees, it will show something of the power of the liquor men in attaining their own ends, even tho the lives of the traveling public are placed in jeopardy.
