OUR BOARD OF MISSIONS.

SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTISTS are a missionary people. Their work has ever been to carry the message of the everlasting Gospel to “the regions beyond,” where it has been heard in its fulness.
They have missionaries in Catholic, Mohammedan and heathen lands, as well as in the dark places in so-called Protestant countries. They have established missionaries in Mexico, Central and South America, Japan, India, Western Africa, and the interior of the Dark Continent, the West Indies, and Polynesia. Having general charge of the work in foreign fields is the Board of Missions of Seventh-day Adventists, composed of nine members, elected biennially at the General Conference of the denomination.
For the carrying forward of its work the board is dependent on the gifts, donations, legacies, etc., of those who are interested in bringing the light and blessing of Christ Jesus to the souls dying in darkness and ignorance. All help rendered in this line will be sacredly used as desired by the donor.
Correspondence addressed to the secretary of the board relative to its operations, will be welcomed. All donations for purposes within the scope of the board should be sent to the treasurer, who will gratefully acknowledge the same. The following are the officers of the board: President, Allen Moon; secretary, J. E. Jayne; treasurer, W. H. Edwards. The address of each of these is 1730 North Fifteenth Street, Philadelphia, Pa.
