“Consecrate yourselves to-day to the Lord.” Ex. 32:29.
Lo, A harvest vast and white Waving in the dawning light! Reapers few and faint I see; “Here am I, send me, send me.”
Waiting millions sadly stand, Asking, with outstretching hand, News of mercy rich and free; “Here am I, send me, send me.”
Earthly gain I count as loss, Fame a shadow, gold as dross; Sweet were toil or death for Thee; “Here am I, send me, send me.”
Father, in Thy boundless grace, Choose for me, Thy child, the place Where I most may honor Thee; Father, here am I, send me.
Saviour, kindly let me share Blessed work beyond compare, Winning wandering souls to Thee; Saviour, here am I, send me.
Pants my heart. Forbid my stay, May Thine angels guard my way, Guide and speed o’er land or sea; Here, O, here am I, send me!
