Sunday Observance Is Not Sabbath Keeping

A LEAFLET which gives some most excellent practical instruction, has also the following: “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Taking a pleasure ride on Sunday, or social visiting, or reading secular newspapers, is not keeping the sabbath day holy. Isa. 58:13, 14.” But keeping Sunday any way is not keeping the Sabbath day. The same command which says, “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy,” says also, “The seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God.” “Cease, my son, to hear the instruction that causeth to err from the words of knowledge.”
