CONSECRATION

By James Eastwood

COME, Lord, Thou heavenly Guest, And Thy sweet Spirit give, That we, by wrong oppressed, A perfect life may live; That we may show to sinners here, How they may live in godly fear.

All in this world we'll leave, For our dear Saviour's sake; For He Himself did give, That we His life might take. Not only we, but all who've heard, May have His blessing through His Word.

Then when He comes to take His children home at last, He'll open us the gate, All trials will be passed. Then shall we raise glad praises sweet To Him in whom we are complete.

JAMES EASTWOOD.
