Are You among the Meek Ones?

Are You among the Meek Ones? Great and precious are the promises to such. The meek will God guide and teach. “The meek shall inherit the earth.” Or are you proud and self-sufficient?—Certain failure is yours. Would you possess the precious grace of meekness? Ask God for his Spirit, which he is waiting to give (Luke 11:9–13); and that Spirit will bear meekness in your life. Jesus, the mighty One, says: “Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart; and ye shall find rest unto your souls.” “Seek meekness.”
