Work To-day

When Jesus calls men to his service it is not to work next week, or to-morrow. It is, “Go work to-day in my vineyard.” “Behold, now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” Then, brother, sister, go to work now. Leave the selfish pleasure, the selfish pursuit of gain, the selfish dignity, and work for souls to-day, now. Those needing help may be in your own household, may be your own neighbors, your own relatives. Help them to-day. Speak the helpful word, do the helpful deed, now.
