The Supreme Test.—There is one supreme test of the truthfulness of God's word and the divine source of Christianity, and that is given by Jesus Christ. It is found in John 7:17, and in the Revised Version reads as follows: “If any man willeth to do His [God's] will, he shall know of the teaching, whether it be of God, or whether I speak from myself.” This is an infallible test, demonstrated in the life of every regenerated soul. It is simple; try it, sinner, skeptic. You will not be disappointed.
