FAITH

By Melissa Barton

BY MRS. MELISSA BARTON.
O, how sweet to know, dear Saviour, Sweet to know I'm thine alone! With thy guiding Spirit lead me, Never do thy child disown.
Closely, O so closely, keep me Near thy wounded, bleeding heart! Never from thy side, O Father, Let thy trusting child depart!
Make me to be thine forever, Serving thee with willing mind, Thy word searching as for treasures, Searching, I shall surely find.
Meek and lowly, ever keep me Full of faith, charity; Faith unwavering, unshrinking, Casting all my care on thee.
Fearlessly walk, ever onward; In Christ's Spirit I am free, O, the rapture, O, the glory, Sweetly trusting all to thee!
