Which Is It?

We do not remember to have seen a worse piece of logic (or is it dishonesty?) than the following from the Pacific Christian of June 6:—
“The Signs of the Times says, ‘There is no change in God’s law.’ And here is what the New Testament says: ‘For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.’ Heb. 7: 12.”
Now the Pacific Christian knows that the SIGNS OF THE TIMES referred to the Decalogue. But the text quoted, as well as the context, refers to the law of a carnal commandment, by which the Levites were made priests, the law which regulated that priesthood. The Decalogue says nothing about priest or priesthood, or anything pertaining to it. Does the P. C. wish its readers to believe that it does? We hope they are more intelligent.
