BISHOP E. R. HENDRIX, of the Methodist Episcopal Church South, has just returned from a missionary tour in Japan, Korea, and China. He brings this message from Li Hung Chang: “Say to the American people for me to send over more for the schools and hospitals, and I hope to be in a position both to aid them and to protect them.”
