The Religion of All.

The religion of Jesus Christ is for all, from the little child to the gray-haired man, from the cradle to the grave—nay, throughout the cycles of all eternity. False religions are limited. Mohammedanism knows no children. The gods of mythology “were not born children.” They knew the strong passions of lust and might and cruelty and hate of years, but not the innocent nature of the child—never were touched with the feelings of the child’s infirmities. Children do not come into their scheme. But our Saviour is no respecter of persons. He loves the little ones as well as the aged. All may trust him. He is not only the man Jesus Christ, in which the strength of mature age may find guidance and power, but he is the holy Child Jesus, in whom children may trust.
