Tract on the Downfall of the Turkish Empire

A TRACT has been laid upon our table entitled “The Downfall of the Turkish Empire Is the Immediate Sign for the Coming of Christ.” The tract is written in a devout spirit, containing some truth, and also, to our mind, much error, based on the belief of a literal return of the Jews to Palestine. While the downfall of the Turkish nation is not far distant, it may be safely asserted that those who build their hope of the Lord’s soon coming on that or any other one sign will be likely to be disappointed.
