Much as we dislike to refuse to insert requests for our periodicals, we feel compelled to do so unless the parties are personally known to us, or are indorsed by our state tract society officers, or ministers. If we insert the request of one unknown person, in justice we should all requests, and then advantages are taken which do not make for the good of the cause. This will be obvious to most of our readers, and we are sure none will take offense.
