Sanitarium Leased to Medical Missionary Association

By vote of both directors and stockholders, the institution has been leased to the S. D. A. Medical Missionary and Benevolent Association. The business manager is Mr. Irving Keck. The physician in chief is W. H. Maxson, M.D., now absent in the east for a few weeks, engaged in advanced work in medical science. The other physicians are A. J. Sanderson, M.D., Harriet Maxson, M.D., and Mary Sanderson, M.D. In Dr. Maxson’s absence, Dr. A. J. Sanderson has charge. With the blessing of God, everything bespeaks a hopeful outlook for the sanitarium, which has already done so much good. Although changing management, it will be gratifying to its many friends to know that its spirit and purpose, and old, tried physicians, have not changed. The “Retreat” is a good place to be when sick, and an excellent place to rest while weary if you can leave business behind.
