An Earnest Prohibition Worker's Unpaid Zeal

An earnest Prohibition brother writes us from San Diego, Cal:—
“Most of our lecturers want to know how much money we’ve got before they will tell us what they think of national prohibition, of sin and saloons, and the supposition of crime-breeding. I have been here two years. I have preached on the streets 750 times, in the halls over 200 times; I have written 7,000 short, red-hot articles on reform, and have given 200 Testaments, besides papers and other godly literature; and I have never asked a cent. I ask God, and it is always forthcoming.”
Would there were more of the same earnest zeal.
