Honor and Honor: A Missionary's Interview in China

Honor and Honor.—It is thus that a missionary reports an interview with a tutor of the young Chinese emperor:—
“Three days after this first interview he returned my call—an imperial tutor of China paying his respects to a plain missionary.”
But, after all, if the missionary were truly an ambassador of the Lord Jesus Christ, the imperial tutor was the more highly honored. A representative of the Lord of heaven met him. “Let no man glory in men.” “Fear God, and give glory to him.”
