Awaits Us.—The life of God awaits every soul who will receive it, who will reach up helpless hands, in the darkness of sin, trouble, or sorrow, and connect with the current of life. Nay, but the hands may be impotent, powerless; if the heart will but choose God’s will, the Spirit of life, which works “according to the will of God,” will take possession of the sin-burdened heart, will consume the sin, cleanse the soul, create power and love within, and bring forth fruit unto eternal life. Reader, why not open your heart and let the Spirit of God in? It will never disappoint you.
