And Also the Night

“And Also the Night.”—Yes, night cometh. It awaits those who have rejected the Crucified—a deeper, darker night than earth has ever known. They have rejected the Light of the World, and their own, fed by his, even though perverted, has gone out. Night has come—a night not lighted by radiant moon, nor by some lone star breaking through the fitful clouds; it is “the blackness of darkness forever,”—“everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and the glory of his power” to “them that know not God, and obey not the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
