READ the article by Mrs. White, “Controversy Awakened by Truth.” It deals with a well-known yet little-realized subject. Often those who teach the truth are told, “You trouble Israel,” “You destroy the peace of neighborhoods.” But it is not truth that troubles or destroys; opposition to truth is the cause of it all. In this way Christ “came not to send peace upon the earth, but a sword,” and yet to all who would receive him or his message came peace. Whether peace or trouble depends on man’s attitude.
