Sunday Laws Anomalies in New York and Brooklyn

The Review of Reviews points in its current issue to the anomaly of the New York and Brooklyn Sundays. In New York, under police surveillance, saloons are closed on Sunday; in Brooklyn, the side door is always swinging. In New York, barber shops are open; in Brooklyn, barber shops are closed. These anomalies are simply indicative of many others which always exist in religious or class legislation.
